Ashes of Eirualia Part 1: Strangers in A Strange Land.

Gabriel absent mindedly fondles the rim of his clothing, intently watching the duel unfolding before him. He stretches his mind to the pair, and lingers in their thoughts for his own amusement, pretty much ignoring everyone around him.

Hervor sticks to the shadows near the makeshift pub after having purchased some of their overpriced beer.
Spitting out the first sip because it's lukewarm and tastes like piss, she looks trough the people arround, carefull for noone to look at her too much, for her appearance can scare some weak hearted men into thinking her a devil.

*lifts the visor on his highly ornate helmet, sets the base of his Lance into his stirrup and spurs his mount towards the stable*

Senera makes a small prayer to Enoch and heads towards the tournament field to observe the two knights fighting.

Kathrin, fully hodded so that no one would see her face searches for a place where no one would notice her, settling in the shadows near the horse stable.

Gabriel: The man on the right, clad in shining plate mail, was a nobleman's second son. He was in no place to inherit anything do his entire future was hinging on this event... He was worried that he'd fail, that fact he'd had a few mugs of ale before the fight was hardly helping his concentration. He knew that he'd made a mistake when he caught his squire scowling because of the stench of his breath... He has to focus...

The other man had a set of old, but sturdy iron plate. He was nigh on his fiftyith winter in this word, but had won himself little enough renown, he could get by servering some obscure Baron for the rest of his life or he could risk it all for one last chance at comfort. He regretted many things in his life, most if all he had no sons to carry on his name. This was his last chance at immortality.

Hervor: No one seemed to notice you, being out of the way. Most were transfixed on the fight in the nearby field.

Marshall: A page comes from the stable to help you with your house, guiding it into a stall in the far corner with a water trough and done fresh hay. {Roll for perception=Kat---8 passes} Your keen senses (no doubt honed from years of travel and combat)allow you to notice the hooded figure near the stable just before entering

Senera: The fight was very uneven... The one on the left was better equipped, but was slow and clumsy. The older, more experienced fighter on the right in the cheap iron plate armor managed to disarm him, ending the match. The crowd cheered for him and the other knight was helped off the field by his squire.

Katharin: You find a recess in the wall of the stable, a shady place that was even cooler due to the sun never quite illuminating it. You price a knight on horseback being led into the stable, he turns in your direction, obviously seeing you through the shade.

Hervor decides to go watch that battle, leaving he visor up, hoping noone is going to attack her and people will just run away from her as usual, no need to get banned from the tournament for stirring up a ruckus.

Senera stays where he is observing his surroundings till the crowd thins out.
After all, he didn't have anywhere better to be.

*dismounts from his horse and walks towards the shadowed figure *

DuCasse disregards the two fighters, for their minds are crammed with tedious nothings, worthless to everyone. Though he can respect the duel had placed a lot at stake, he questioned why such men decided to solve such issues with barbarism.

Speaking of which, a large armoured man had approached nearby. Gabriel turned slightly, and reached a curious hand into the mind of Senera.

Looking at the Knight Kathrin says: "If you ask why I am at this Tournament then I´m her to get away from my past. If you ask why I´m standing here then it is because I don´t really want to talk to people right now."

Hervor: She finds the last battle has just finished and a new one is about to be declared. She might notice The armor class knight with no heraldry or colors, and a man in an iron mask...

Senara: The next fight is being called, so the crowd doesn't thin out.

Marshall: You might notice the announcer about to call the next round of contenders to the Field, perhaps you might be one?

Gabriel: Senera's mind is filled with hope. Just recently arrived to Volakryia, he was looking to join the Expedition in order to help the people, but also to to hopefully discover the person or persons responsible for his old order being declared traitors. He enjoyed the fight, admiring the experienced swordplay of the older fighter, though he did not use one himself he had been trained in several types of combat.

Suddenly Gabriel felt the hairs on his neck stand on end and an odd sensation of dread. That's when he noticed the symbol of Enoch hanging from around his neck... The symbol of a Holy Paladin.

Kathrin: A loud clammer could be heard as the next combatants were announced...


Everyone:An announcer blew a trumpet and began reading from a scroll for all to hear.
"Hear one and all! The Lord Solis hath decreed the next set of combatants shall be: Lord Regis of Nayria, and facing him, Ser Fernando of the Ember Knights! Due to the nature of the combatants all Acts of faith are disallowed for the duration of this match. We wish the contenders luck! May the gods be with them."

This should be fun to watch.
*heads towards the tourney ground to get a better view.*

Leaning against the stable Kathrin watches the crowd.

As he is called, Senera heads into the tourney grounds with a prayer to Enoch. He then attempts to take a look at his opponent.

The diviner makes sure to keep a keen eye on the Paladin, but harvesting all he requires from his head, he now delves into the thoughts of his opponent. He also looks around to see if there are any betting tables set up.

Hervor sticks to the shadows but is exited to see a real knight go into the circle.
She'll check out the armarment and garnments of the knights poor victim.
