Age: 250 years old

Description: Captain Nihilus Nostradamus, A veteran of countless battles he is often regarded as a "Genius Tactician." He tends to favour tactics and strategy over rushing in and using brute force and has shown to be capable of using both orthodox and unorthodox tactics. Arrogant and prideful, most of the time doing what he thinks is correct, yet kind and charismatic always thinking about the lives of his soldiers as well as allies and civilians, which has earned him the respect of many people around him. He also has no problems with retreating when things go sour, which has contributed to a slight clash of ideals with some other Space Marines, and other Emperor loving bastards with suicidal tendencies *cough*Sororitas*cough*.
An example of his tactical skills, is during the battle of Gallius Prime when his company was fighting against a chaos horde of about 2000 troops. He sent one tactical squad to capture a nearby hill fort and fill it with company standard banners and make it look like it was well defended and could attack the chaos encampment easily. Thanks to that the Chaos troops placed their defences facing the almost empty fort, and during the next day they charged it with great force, only to find the find the fort empty and laden with hidden explosives, which decimated the attacking force of 1000 troops and brought down the hill on top of most of the remaining forces. Then immediately Captain Nihilus led his troops to attack the rear of the enemy force which was defenseless due to it being set up to defend against attacks from the fort. This attack was swift and deadly with the assault squads quickly neutralizing the enemy leaders and 3 tactical squads and 2 devastator squads chewing up the surprised and disoriented force. the 2 other tactical squads and dreadnoughts were placed in choke points and were able to easily cut down the fleeing troops, effectively destroying a force of 2000 chaos troops along with 200 Chaos Space Marines with a small force of a Space Marine Company.

Force History:
Founded during the 37th Millennium as a successor Chapter to the Blood Angels, the Mithril Templars were a Fleet based Chapter founded to launch a crusade against the Imperium's enemies. They primarily concentrated on fighting the Ork infestation, and the Chapter Master was so efficient at killing Orks that even the mention of his name would send shivers down and Ork's spine.
However, The Chapter Master Gaius Ignatius lead a campaign against an ork invasion near the Halo Stars. After slaying the warboss in single combat, a Chaos warband appeared. The chapter master was felled in single combat by having lightning claws thrust through his chest by the aspiring champion, Lukhan. In the fierce battle, Most of the Chapter Master's squad was eliminated save for his second in Command Senera Fernando and a few more Veterans. In the battle Senera was severely wounded and was dragged 5km to relative safety by the 1st Company Apothecary Meros. However the reason for both of their survival was the timely reinforcement of the 2nd Company led by Captain Nihilus Nostradamus which managed to cut off and annihilate most of the Khorne worshiping heretics.
After a week or so, Senera was promoted to the rank of Chapter Master and Apothecary Meros was promoted to Chief Apothecary.

Some time Later.....(4 days)
Nihilus passes the long hallway of the Capital ship and enters the main room. There sits the Chapter Master Senera Fernando, Senera is unfamiliar with many of the protocols he's trying due to his only recent ascension, still healing from his wounds from the battle of the Halo stars; a grievous battle which saw the death of the last Chapter master. He sits on his throne alone,.. restlessly, reading, and typing on data slates. No doubt he has a lot on his hands. He just achieved the highest post that a Space Marine of the Chapter can.  
Nihilus approaches Senera's throne and coughs. "*ahem* You summoned me Chapter Master".
Senera looks down on Nihilus with a tang of surprise, "Oh, yes. I didn't expect you to come so soon brother", he says as he puts away the dataslate that he's been working on.
"I did not have much to do. My company's squads are done reorganizing. We lack one squad, but other than that, the company is battle ready as ever", Nihilius replies.
Senera gets off his throne and walks towards Nihilus "Good. Very Good. Do you know why I summoned you?".
"To give me a mission?" Comes the obvious reply from Nihilus while raising an eyebrow.
Senera places his hand on Nihilus' shoulder pad and says with a chuckle, "Well yes... but this is also about your succession as the 1st Company Captain." senera's smile disapperars. "There have been protests... claiming that you are far too young for this role.".
"Have I not proven myself enough?" Nihilus retorts.
"Indeed you have, to me. and to many. But a few refuse to see that. But I have good news. There is a way to prove yourself, brother." Senera says as he turns back and searches his pile of data slates.
"And that is...?" Nihilus questions.
Senera hands him over a dataslate "I received this about 5 hours ago" . Nihilus begins to read it as Senera says, "You will aid in the defense of the Seleucis Subsector. Accomplish this task and I can guarantee you, I will silence all voices against your promotion to 1st Company Captain.".
"Not much of a request is it my lord?" Nihilus replies as he finished reading the data slate and hands it over to Senera.
"Well.. will you refuse?", asks Senera.
"Oh no. Quite the contrary. I gladly accept." Nihilus replies with a smug face "I just need one thing".
"And what might that be?", Senera asks raising an eyebrow.
"Eyes" comes the vague reply.
"And you will have them. Though at most I will only be able to get you about 20 scouts. Athenor is a tough nut to crack and even more so that he's in the middle of reorganizing and training new neophytes. Though I suspect that he would cave in at the mention of your circumstance. He is your friend after all. I will even sweeten the deal. I grant you 2 Furioso dreadnoughts and 2 Squads of Terminators." Says Senera loudly and proudly.
"My lord.... first company veterans?" Nihilus asks. Senera climbs back onto his throne and says "Well..If you are going to lead the 1st company someday, you will have to be familiar with them. Now go and assemble the men. I will send the scouts and the first company contingent within the hour". "Aye my lord", Nihilus takes a bow a begins to leave.
"Good Luck brother. May the Emperor guide you." Senera says with a weak smile.
"Yes my lord! I will extract vengeance for Lord Gaius Ignatius" Nihilus replies with a huge grin on his face.
Senera frowns "Do not let vengeance blind you brother. Your task is to protect the sector and it's people. Blind vengeance will only lead to your destruction"
"Yes, my lord" Nihilus says with a disappointed tone, and leaves.

His Sniper has claimed the lives of many a foe, and is said to have never missed a shot. Many Xenos and heretics alike have fallen to his axe. He has lead his squad of Terminators through the most desolate and hopeless of fights and has brought victory every time.  He too is a soldier who cares for his comrades and has found a great friend in the young Assault Terminator Sargent that he is paired up with mist of the time.

A month later the Mithril Templars are summoned to aid in the reclamation of four Imperial planets from the grip of Chaos. Senera quickly mobilizes the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th companies with a contingent of 10th company scouts and an armored support detail led by Captain Nihilus Nostradamus of the 1st company to extract vengeance from the foul chaos abominations and reclaim the lost world in the name of the Imperium.
