You are a mixed band, seasoned and fresh, free and convicted you are all part of the imperial guard war machine. You arrive on the imperial held planet of Narsoss, known and respected for its age the agri world holds a population of 80,000,000 on estimate, has cool summers and now is home to one of the most dangerous criminals in the entire sector. Your mission reports state that all attempts to capture or kill had ended in decimating blood shed and suffering, the subject is a Psyker and is highly skilled in combat and evasion. Sources indicate he has all the gangs of Hive city 'Persomus' under his belt and are fearfully loyal of the man, an image supplied shows a sunken face of a middle aged, bald white man who has a scar across his mouth and milky white eyes. You are to enter the hive with back up on call and apprehend the criminal alive or in a body bag, the squad call sign is 'Band of Angels' good luck troopers.

create your character who must be of the human genius e.g mutant, psykers E.C.T and please restrain on using heavy and non imperial weaponry, so no plasma cannons or las cannons.

five points to be allocated each on the following chart for your characters with each skill capping at 10, points will be issued to specific skills by me when your character does tough feats such as nat 20ing or talking yourself out of a fight which will increase your speech skill ECT the skills will provide modifiers to rolls to do things, but be warned that injury's can hinder your skills ECT broken arm decreases attack by -1 for a day in game ECT.

Power sword: +6 attack damage, +2 speed, +2 defence (Disadvantage range)
power axe: +7 attack, +2 defence(Disadvantage range)
Power lance: +6 attack, +4 speed, -2 defence (Disadvantage range)
Power fist: +10 attack damage, -2 defence (cannot be thrown, unwieldy)
Hammer: +3 attack -1 speed (Disadvantage range)

Frag grenade: 10 damage in area of effect (Grenade)
Krak grenade: 15 damage on one target (Grenade)

Bolt pistol- +6 attack -6 speed (unwieldy recoil, Disadvantage close quarters, limited ammo)
Boltgun- +7 attack -7 speed (Unwieldy recoil, Disadvantage close quarters, limited ammo)
Auto pistol (Range): +2 attack damage -2 speed (Disadvantage close quarters)
Auto rifle (Range): +3 attack damage -3 speed (Disadvantage close quarters)
Las rifle (Range): +3 attack damage -3 speed (Disadvantage close quarters)

Races:
Humans- no buffs or debuffs
Ogryns- +4 to strength skill but -3 accuracy, speed and speech (slow in the head)
Mutant (General)- +1 strength, +1 acrobatic -2 speech -2 luck
Psykers- accesses psykic powers (Hunted)

Special rules:
Unwieldy- "the weapon is too much to handle" if used by a character with strength modifier lower than 10 always go last in combat if it is on the character at the time.

Slow in the head- The character is a but of a Tard and so when combat begins -3 to placement in combat

Bashy- the weapon has +1 attack in close combat

Were going to need bigger men- This weapon can only be used by a Ogryn

Not made to aim- The weapon has -3 to aim

Hunted- this character is hunted by slavers and demons from the warp, -3 luck and when using psykic powers must roll using luck characteristic to see what happens.  

Grenade- "Fire in the hole" This weapon is thrown and so harder to aim properly, -3 accuracy any ones or twos will lead to a miss fire and the grenade will fly in a randomly chosen direction.

Limited ammo- The weapon has ammunition hard to manufacture or find and so only 20 shots per day can be used until you are resupplied.

Disadvantage- Disadvantage is the dice is rolled twice against the character with the higher result chosen, while the character rolls twice and picks the lowest in the selected attribute e.g Range- throwing a knife or hammer that is not made to be thrown

Range- this weapon is made for ranged combat and when used will not be disadvantaged at range, to fire accuracy is used to hit the target with negatives applied through terrain and other obsticles.

Advantage- advantage gives the character the chance to roll twice against a target and pick the result E.G if target is on the ground or is surrounded.

Description: 5' 10" and broad shouldered he carriers the scars of many battles the most noticeable running from his left shoulder blade to the back of his head. He has short, blonde hair and blue eyes.
Background: soon after joining the Valian regiments he was transferred to the Valian 1st as a result of his obvious talent for stealth and infiltration. Within a year he had reached the rank of corporal and was put through Sniper training. After a protracted campaign against the eldar on the planet of ignus VI he was promoted to Sergeant, although not before earning his trademark scar during an ambush by eldar warp spiders.

Weapons: Two knives, one in each boot, auto pistol in back holster.
Equipment: A few basic lock picks, spray paint can (red), a few simple mechanical tools he's scrounged (Spanners, hammers etc.)
Armour: Thick black leather trenchcoat that covers a set of leathers... little use maybe, but perhaps it's all he's got.
Description: Shoulder length black hair, nice enough face with little scarring, and warm brown eyes. Generally looks to be of good size and build.
Background: Who fucking knows? The stories this man tell change every damn time... all that you know is he's some sort of ex-ganger, with a quick wit, smooth tongue and a whole heaping of luck.

Yes acrobatics is basic fitness and flexibility in game e.g want to climb a wall, add Acrobatic modifier

Description: 5' 7" with black hair, brown eyes, and broad shoulders.

Background: Dinushiri or Din as his friends call him, was an ex-Imperial guardsman before joining the Adeptus Arbites where he was able to distinguish himself as a pretty good assault and riot control troop. With his lock shield and shock maul, he was a force to be reckoned with. However, once a guardsman, always a guardsman. He was again forced to join the Imperial Guard. However, he took his Shield with him as a memento of his Arbites days.

Ill write up grenades and a ripper gun but the tougher the character the more ill throw at the party, death can and will happen in this game.

Equipment: Keeps a shiny medal proudly on his chest, who nobody touches, or they die.

Armour: White vest, camouflaged combat trousers, Slab Shield (+10 Defence, Unwieldy, Bashy), heavy boots

Description: Stands at approximately 3 metres in height, average muscle mass for an Ogryn, bald, dim green eyes

Background: Diezrug Trokog, often shortened to Kog since other Ogryns get confused by names longer than a single syllable, is classed amongst the 'standard' Ogryn and has had something of an unremarkable career. That is, unremarkable for a creature capable of throwing entire tanks and shrugging off Heavy Bolter rounds. This confuses most Commissars and even reasonably intelligent Bone 'Eads who lead Kog's squad since his mighty Slab Shield is only ever seen within the ranks of the elite Bullgryns. Nobody quite knows how he got it, but the last person who tried to take the shield off him ended up with most of their entrails painted across it.
